Space Funding
Hey crew,
Jose here with another Space Funding Newsletter.
Crypto is back; could we be in front of another bull run? Reg CA is real though and they are making a lot of progrress.
The CLARITY Act is dead (for now). And the CfPA filed a warning last week. Here's the plain-English breakdown and the clear answer for every founder not building on a blockchain.

Chemical-Free Farming Is Now Open To Investors
For decades, farmers have relied on herbicides and heavy equipment to control weeds.
Greenfield Robotics is working to change that.
BOTONY robots navigate crop rows and mechanically remove weeds, giving farmers an alternative to blanket herbicide applications and intensive tillage.
The potential benefits are significant:
Clean food supply
Reduce reliance on agricultural chemicals
Reduce unnecessary soil disturbance
Help farmers protect crops from weed competition
Support more sustainable farming practices
And the market is enormous.
Greenfield estimates more than 250 million acres of broadacre cropland in the U.S., with more than 100 million acres in its initial serviceable market.
With the Reg A+ now live, investors can participate in Greenfield Robotics' growth story.
This Reg A+ offering is made available through StartEngine Primary, LLC, member FINRA/SIPC. Please read the Offering Circular and related disclosures before investing. WHAT IS REG CA
What is Regulation Crypto Assets?
On August 18, 2026, the SEC published a proposed rulemaking for Regulation Crypto Assets, a new capital raise framework for companies whose primary business involves issuing or operating on a blockchain or distributed ledger.
Think of it as a parallel track to Reg CF and Reg A+, but built specifically for token issuers and crypto-native projects. The proposed framework includes two tiers: a $5M startup exemption and a $75M fundraising cap.
The key structural advantage in Reg CA is state preemption — issuers would not need to register in individual states, similar to how Reg A+ already works. This matters for crypto issuers because token sales often reach investors across dozens of states simultaneously.
SECTION 02
Does Reg CA Change Anything for Non-Crypto Founders?

Flock.io
No. Full stop.
Reg CA is narrowly scoped to crypto-native issuers. If your company is not issuing tokens, not operating a blockchain protocol, and not primarily a crypto business, Reg CA does not apply to you. It is not a replacement for Reg CF. It does not change the $5M Reg CF cap.
It does not affect your timeline, your filing, or your investor protections.
SECTION 03
The Reg A+ "IPO", One of the First of Its Kind
CALLOUT BOX: Industry Watchdog Alert · Sep 25, 2026
The Crowdfunding Professional Association filed formal comments with the SEC requesting that Reg CA investors receive equal protections as Reg CF investors. Their argument: if crypto issuers can raise from retail investors under Reg CA with fewer disclosures than Reg CF requires, it creates a two-tier system that disadvantages traditional founders and under-protects crypto investors. The comment period closes October 20, 2026.

SECTION 05 | TAKE AWAY
What Should Founders Do With This Information?
Watch it. Don't react to it.
Reg CA is in the comment period. It is not law. It is not finalized. The CLARITY Act, the broader legislation that would have redefined what counts as a security, failed 49-50 in the Senate two weeks ago. The regulatory environment for non-crypto capital raises has not changed.
If you are raising under Reg CF or preparing a Reg A+ filing, the rules you are operating under are the same ones that helped 6,300 investors fund a single company's first round in 2018, and that helped the #1 Reg CF raise of 2025 close $5M in 60 days. Those rules work. They are tested. They are not under threat.
The only thing worth tracking in the Reg CA conversation: if the CfPA's "Presumptive Parity" argument gains traction, it could eventually push for stronger investor protections under Reg CF, which would be a long-term positive for founders who want retail investors to trust their raise.
Reg CA is a crypto rule. Reg CF is your rule.
Every week there is new regulatory noise. Proposals get filed, bills fail, advocacy groups publish comments. Most of it is not about your raise. We track this so you don't have to. Our job is to tell you what changed, what didn't, and what you should be doing right now. Right now: Reg CF is open, the rules are unchanged, and the founders who started their raise this quarter will have a completed filing before the next regulatory cycle even begins.
The Rules Haven't Changed. Have You Started Yet?
While the regulatory noise plays out, founders who started their Reg CF raise this quarter will have already closed.
